Top 3 Games For 2005 - Xbox 360

Although it's too early to pass judgment on the console, its launch title certainly shows promise of much better things to come from the Redmond giant. |

  | The Need for Speed series has always been a popular one and when it got a nice facelift for the 360, it became one of my instant favorites on the brand new console. Sure it may not have been on the list had the console been around for the entire year, but this is still a very deep and capable game that plays beautifully both online and offline. |

 | The Project Gotham series has been such a successful series for Microsoft, it was no surprise that PGR 3 was going to be a launch title for the Xbox 360. This game may not bring anything overly new in terms of gameplay innovations to the series, but what it does do is give an already beautiful game an even more beautiful, with amazing detail and just mind blowing racing tracks. |

 | I personally "was" getting tired of WWII shooters, but when I tried out of Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360 I have to admit that I was beyond impressed. Just sitting down through the single player mode is literally a treat, with all of the small details that go into each gun battle, it is truly an amazing accomplishment for the people at Infinity Ward. This game was just a ton of fun, with both amazing online and offline modes that anyone who was lucky enough to get their hands on a 360 will just downright love. |
