The enchanting world of LUNAR comes to life once more in the enhanced PlayStation version of the classic RPG sequel. Join freewheeling Hiro and adorable Ruby a thousand years after the events of the first adventure, as they work to unlock the secrets of the Blue Spire…and the strange young girl they found within it! But be careful-dark forces are trying to revive the evil Zophar, and immerse LUNAR in darkness forever.
Journey to distant lands in search of the Goddess Althena, who may be the only one powerful enough to stop Zophar. Along the way, you’ll meet exciting new characters, fight vividly animated monsters, traverse snow-covered mountain peaks, and crawl through slimy dungeon depths as you wind your way toward the terrifying climax! Working Designs have also announced that LUNAR2:Eternal Blue packaging configuration has been finalised. Below is the first pic of the configuration you'll see when you get the game. The box contains:
- 3 Game CD's
- 1 Hardbound game manual
- 1 CD Wallet containing:
- 1 Soundtrack CD with 73 minutes of arranged music
- 1 "Making of LUNAR2" documentary movie disc
- 1 Omake Box containing:
- 1 LUNAR2 paper map with mini-poster
- 1 Scale Replica of Lucia's pendant in cloth pouch
- 17 LUNAR2 character mini-standees ("Omake" is the Japanese word for "Extra")
Only initial shipments of LUNAR 2 will contain the full cast of mini-standees. Also, fans that preorder at participating Babbage's, Funcoland, or Electronics Boutique stores will get a limited edition punching Ghaleon puppet free!
Currently, LUNAR2 is awaiting final manufacturing approval at Sony. The game is to be released at the end of November.
