Introduction
It was only a few months ago that Sony released the PSP to the general public where it seemed to be received with open arms. Well along with this handheld gaming device came a ton of different hardware and extras to buy along side it "to get the full experience from the PSP". Well today we got the great opportunity to check out what the guys over at Intec have created for the PSP, in what they like to call the "Pro Gamers Kit for the PSP". So does it do what it's meant to do? Read our full review to find out!

Testing
I doubt I really need to go through everything that is included in the package, because a lot of them are pretty self-explanatory. But I will give you my opinion on everything included in this package. To start with the Game Buds, which have the nice feature of being retractable don't do as much for me as other things in this package do. I say this because the quality of the buds really aren't all that great, and it's not that they're not that comfortable - it's just they aren't that different from what you get when you purchase the PSP.
I remembered getting a safe screen for my GBA because my kid brother thought it was funny to scratch up the unit's screen. In that context, a screen protector sounded like a fine idea for my PSP as well. The Safe Screen included in this package is extremely thin, so it doesn't mess with your gameplay at all. It does a rather great job in protecting the PSP from the dust and scratching, something which surprises me, given how thin it actually was.
The car adaptor is something that I was hoping would be shipped with the standard PSP, as I am sure a lot of us will be taking the unit on road trips, as I myself will in a couple of weeks. I did test out the car adaptor and it does exactly what it says on the box - charges your PSP in the car.
The gamer's neck strap on the other hand is something that I doubt anyone will ever use, and I know I have yet to find a use for it since I have gotten this kit. I tried it out, and to be honest it does what it is supposed to do. But with that being said, I don't see the practical use of it, especially with the PSP not being overly light.
The Game Cases that are included in this kit really remind me of those old Pog containers that everyone used to carry around when I was a kid. I mean these cases are not the most stylish things you have ever seen, but they can carry three UMDs, and if you are going anywhere with your PSP then this is a great way to carry the games.
And last but not least, probably the most important, if not the most wanted, (for me) add-on for the PSP, and it's the Docking Station. The station acts much like an iPod docking station, in that you can charge right from it. I like the idea of this unit, but to be honest it doesn't seem to me that the PSP sits all that well in this docking station. The unit does do what it sets out to do, but I found that it seemed a little loose for my taste. I would to have preferred a much sturdier unit than what is supplied here.

Overall: 9.0/10
For the below $30 price tag (look around on the Internet), I must say that you do get quite a bit of bang for your buck. I found that the kit offered enough extras for your PSP to really be worth the money. If you are in the market for some extra add-ons for your PSP, I have a feeling a lot of what you're looking for can be found in the Intec Pro Gamers Kit.
