Overview

Crimson Tears is a fighting action adventure game. Using awesome weapons, players must battle through many varied and mazelike environments. A mysterious accident has ripped through the centre of industrial Tokyo and the aim of the game is to find out how, why and who has caused this dreadful disaster.

Famed fighting game developer Dream Factory is in charge of development of Crimson Tears with Capcom and Spike responsible for marketing and promotion. This project is a collaboration of these three companies.

Storyline

Set in the year 2049, Tokyo's infrastructure has been paralysed due to a sudden and mysterious accident. Three prototype biological weapons 'ASUKA', 'TOKIO' and 'KAEDE', were sent to the headquarters of the weapon manufacturer 'A.R.M.A.' for investigation of the cause of the accident. However, the area around the headquarters has become a labyrinth due to the strange effects of these weapons. Players must use a mix of hand to hand and weapon based combat to reach the top of the HQ and discover the truth.
