FIFA 07

With the extremely long lists of teams and stadiums, along with a great deal of game modes and new gameplay mechanics, this is really an extremely solid soccer package. For anyone who has not made the transition to the next generation of consoles, FIFA Soccer 07 still makes a worthwhile purchase on the Xbox.

NHL 07

As much as the gameplay feels smooth, the depth is there, the visuals are good, but to make this game worth a purchase this game just doesn’t feel like it has enough good to make it worth even the less expensive $29.99 price tag. If you really want a hockey game, I would say that this is only good for a roster update, and fans who want new should probably look towards the new consoles.

NASCAR 07

NASCAR 07 is still a very good game that offers up a lot of great racing experiences that for me was still an enjoyable game except for the disappointing online play. For fans of the series, I would recommend this game if you just can’t hold for next year’s game. This game has some good new features, but nothing that really revolutionizes the racing experience.

Commandos Strike Force

The Xbox is a console that is rich full of great FPS, and this is a game that just gets the basics down and really feels like a game that aims low. So in the end, this is a game that shows signs of potential but never takes advantage of them.

Crime Life: Gang Wars

Even at the budget title price, this game would be a complete waste of your hard earned cash. If the developers do go for a second shot on this franchise, I would hope that they would go away from being a budget title and do this game the justice that it could have had.

America's Army: Rise of a Soldier

I would have to say that I could only recommend this game to the true tactical shooter buffs who want to see how it is to suit up in the American Army. Otherwise, there are better tactical shooters already out there.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

The Chronicles of Narnia is really a hot topic in 2005 and the game unfortunately won’t be a huge part of it. This may be a good game but it comes nowhere near the magnitude of how great the book and movie is. If you loved the book or movie give this game a shot, it is cool to take the role of these beloved characters; just don’t expect an epic experience either.

Aeon Flux

Aeon Flux is another one of those games that just didn’t leave a lasting impression on me. I played the game for a good amount of time and was entertained, but not something I would rave about. If you enjoyed the movie, go check this game out in a rental. Otherwise you are probably better off just passing up on this one.

Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3

Dance Dance Revolution: Ultramix 3 is not a huge change from what we have seen in the past, but it still contains some great improvements. If you want to see more online play, some new music, and one heck of a challenge from a DDR game, then look no further than DDR: Ultramix 3. This is one fun and challenging game that DDR fans with really enjoy.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire is, like I have said several times through this review, a capable but average action adventure game that could have been a lot better than the final product. If you are a huge Harry Potter fan, you will still find it neat to play as the trio of characters, but there just isn’t enough in this game to warrant this as anything more than a rental.

Without Warning

I couldn’t find one person in the world that should spend their hard earned cash on this game; it is just one of those games that unfortunately should just be left on store shelves. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Castlevania: Curse of Darkness

Therefore, you can add Castlevania: Curse of Darkness to the list of games in the series that were good but just weren’t good enough. I would recommend checking this game out with a rental, but anything more than that would probably be asking too much.

Castlevania: Curse of Darkness

Star Wars Battlefront II

I don’t think they upgraded everything enough to take it to the next level. Should Battlefront fans go run out and buy this game? My answer is try this game as a rental first and see if you like the changes. If you do, you will have yourself a game that you will probably playing for months on in.

Star Wars Battlefront II

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One

Big Red One is a solid game through and through. However, fans of WWII FPS will find things to enjoy in the game, just don’t expect it to be one of the best ones out there. If you like these sorts of games, give the game a try as it is definitely worth a rental. But purchasing this game just doesn’t seem worthwhile in my opinion.

Brothers In Arms: Earned In Blood

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is a game that truly has a great deal in common with the previous Brothers in Arms game, which is a great thing. It may not be all that revolutionary as the previous one, but it still remains one of the top FPS on the Xbox. So if you enjoyed Road to Hill 30, then you will definitely give Earned in Blood a go.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

The shooting in the game was much too difficult and the game itself just lacked any sort of story or interesting features. Fans of the anime show might find some things to enjoy, but everyone else will probably be fine just staying clear of this game, as it just doesn’t have enough to offer for even a rental.

Fable: The Lost Chapters

There is nowhere near enough content in this game for me to warrant a new purchase. I would only recommend Lost Chapters to those who did not get a chance to play Fable and are looking to play a great action RPG.

Fable: The Lost Chapters

Sniper Elite

It wasn’t perfect, and the visuals had plenty of room for improvement, but it still was a good game. If you like sniping and want a game that focuses almost all of its attention on that, then check this game out as a rental you will find a lot of things to enjoy.

World Poker Tour 2K6

The game will work for anyone who just wants to play some tournament-style poker, but for those who were hoping 2K Sports would come out with an original poker title, you won’t find it in World Poker Tour.

Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel without a Pulse

Unfortunately it is hard for me to recommend this game as anything more than a rental, simply because you can complete it in one sitting. However with that being said, this may be one of the best games you rent all year, especially if you enjoy zombies and the fifties.
