E3 2017: Electronic Arts Predictions

Each year our editors sit down and make wild and crazy predictions about what we expect to at all of the press conferences at E3 2017. Although most of them are just flat out wrong, every once in a while we can nail them. So sit back, enjoy a nice libation, and join our editors as we discuss our predictions for each of the big conferences this year. Today we're starting with Electronic Arts, who will kick off the slew of press conferences on Saturday June 10th.

Head to Head: Resident Evil 4 vs. Dead Space

Mechanically, Dead Space definitely had a lot of potential to show up RE4 entirely, but ultimately its lack of characterization and variety made it forgettable, at least for me. For years to come, I will still load up Resident Evil 4 HD to enjoy the unrivaled and unique entertainment it provides while Dead Space will doubtlessly fall into obscurity.

Allen's Top 5 Games of 2011

What a year for video games, eh? After the onslaught that was October and November, I was surprised to go back and discover the sheer number of games that came out at the start of the year and during the summer drought. While 2011 saw the return of favored franchises, we also saw some great new IP from our favorite development studios. Putting this list together was pretty difficult. I could have easily stretched this list out into a Top 10 Games of 2011, but I couldn't and after losing a night's sleep over it, I feel pretty confident in my choices. In my mind, it isn't enough for a game to be just "good."
