As we do every year, today we're here with our thoughts on the E3 Press Conferences. Today we're grading the E3 press conference for Bethesda. In a year where Bethesda didn't announce a new Fallout or Elder Scrolls game, what did our editors think of Bethesdaland?

Darkstation 2016 Game of the Year - Artistic Awards

Yesterday we had our first overall game of the year posts here at Darkstation with the genre awards. Today though we shift gears a bit and are going to be looking at the artistic awards. These awards might have been some of the most competitive categories of the entire 2016 Game of the Year awards. So rather then delay the inevitable lets jump into the 2016 Artistic Awards.

Jonathan M's Top 5 Games of 2016

I sadly didn't play nearly as many new games in 2016 as I wanted but it's been an incredibly fun year watch. From the launch of the Sony's PS4 Pro, the announcements of Microsoft's Project Scorpio and Nintendo's Switch, to the rise of VR, 2016 has been an awesome year (video game-wise). But I think the best part is how it has set the stage for 2017, which could be the best year in gaming since 2007.

Mark's Top 5 Games of 2016

After nearly twelve years of reviewing games, I took a six month hiatus from writing about them. I resold my new Oculus Rift without even opening the box and just gave gaming a little lower priority for a while. I picked a great time to jump back in, though, with most of my "year's best" coming out in this past quarter. The list that follows is really in no particular order; I think they're all great and on any given day, any one of them could rise to the top spot.
