2017 was such a momentous year for gaming that I was already primed to believe 2018 couldn’t outdo it. Well, it ended up being true. 2018 wasn’t as strong, but it actually came pretty close. Although there weren’t as many big, new titles for me, my top five games of 2018 have made me unbelievably happy.

So many games, in fact, that I have not had the chance to play a good number of them.
