Darkstation 2016 Game of the Year - Artistic Awards

Yesterday we had our first overall game of the year posts here at Darkstation with the genre awards. Today though we shift gears a bit and are going to be looking at the artistic awards. These awards might have been some of the most competitive categories of the entire 2016 Game of the Year awards. So rather then delay the inevitable lets jump into the 2016 Artistic Awards.

Darkstation 2016 Game of the Year - Genre Awards

Each year the Darkstation staff gather around our virtual conference room table and deliberate the best games of the year. 2016 has been one of the more challenging years with one of the most diverse lineup of games to choose from. Unlike in years paste there hasn't been a single stand-out clearly defined winner for any category. Without further ado here is the first part in the three part Darkstation Game of the Year 2016 award winners.

Hiram's Top 5 Games of 2016

2016 may go down in history as just a photo of a piece of poop, but it's at least a pile of poop on top of a giant pile of super awesome games. It's just one of those years where every time you look around, there's something new and cool and interesting to play. Even little-loved systems like the Vita and WiiU had two or three things come out that were worth a look at. Everything is exciting! Video games are fun! Don't look outside oh god it's terrible out there save yourself!!! Video gamesssssssssssss!!!!!!
