Jonathan Miley Top 5 Games of 2015
Wow. What a year. 2015 has been amazing, emotional year. It's given us great, touching experiences like Life is Strange and The Beginner's Guide, but in it we've also seen bombastic AAA titles like Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Witcher 3, Just Cause 3, and Batman: Arkham Knight. It's simply a wonderful time to be a gamer and to be able to partake in all the amazing titles so many incredible peoples have created. Which made this year's list uncommonly difficult to trim down. But I think if you were only able to play 5 games this year, it would be these.
Allen's Top 5 Games of the Year
What a year. What a year! In my mind, 2015 was a banner year for playing games on my PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While most of the big, AAA titles to be released were sequels to existing properties, they were good sequels. And for all the bombastic sequels and explosive franchise finales, I found comfort in smaller and more quieter experiences. The best video games are those that let us escape from the the humdrum of everyday life. To take a breather from things in the world that leave us scared and uncertain. And boy, did I go places. In 2015, I learned to hack computers, took virtual girls on dates, fought side by side with Rebels to fight the Empire (and vice versa), master the art of time travel, and even kill a few zombies. Every game I played left me enriched with memories that I loved sharing with people, even if they made me cry all over again (thanks, Life Is Strange). You did good, 2015. You did good.
Jonathan Paris Top 5 Games of 2015
2015 has been the best year for gaming since the launch of the current generation titles. This year our shiny new consoles finally started to get some legs under them and showed games a glimpse of their true power. There are so many great games to chose from but these are my top 5 games of the year.
Joel's Top 5 Games of 2015
2015 was quite the year. Unlike many years, 2015 was the type of year where there was at least one game for every fan. Want a fantasy RPG go check out The Witcher 3. Want an open-world action game, there are five really good ones. Interested in diving into sports games again, well Rocket League may be for you. The list goes on and on. You name a genre and there is at least one great game ready to be devoured. Which made sitting down to right this list quite the challenge, and yet I sit here today extremely confident that these were the best five games I played in 2015.
