I am still a firm believer that had the game been given more time to formulate the overall product could have been fantastic, but we will leave that for another day. Harry Potter fans can be sure that they will not be getting suckered in by another poor movie game, as this is one of the few movie titles I actually enjoyed my time with in a long time.

It is hard to port a game from the consoles to a handheld device - that is obvious. But when you try and do so, there needs to be some added features to help balance out some of things you had to take out to get the game on the platform. Unfortunately the developers really didn’t do this, and thus we are left with a game that just unfortunately couldn’t match the console version.

Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire is, like I have said several times through this review, a capable but average action adventure game that could have been a lot better than the final product. If you are a huge Harry Potter fan, you will still find it neat to play as the trio of characters, but there just isn’t enough in this game to warrant this as anything more than a rental.
