Titan Quest (Switch) Review

The first thing you notice about Titan Quest is its similarity to Diablo. Keeping the God’s eye view point, you move around a bleak-looking world taking out mythical and religiously inspired enemies. The religion of choice here is Greek mythology, featuring satyrs, centaurs, harpies, and... more satyrs.

You may, on the other hand, find it to be oddly compelling. You almost certainly will not find it to be a predictable, by-the-numbers affair.

Deadfall Adventures

The concept of fusing classically-minded game designs together under a modern presentation is a great one, but the experience typifies all the worst parts of its inspiration. The puzzles barely register against the action or the plot, arbitrary gates to the next limp shooting gallery. The challenge and personality of old-school shooter or adventure classics is totally absent. It's one of the most creatively bankrupt games I've played this year. And you should not play it.

The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief

With so much of the story left to see, it's hard to make any definitive calls on the overall quality of The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief. As for the first chapter though, I am waiting with baited breath to see where the story goes, and to continue on this adventure with Constable Zellner. For fans of the adventure genre, this is an easy one to recommend. For everyone else, there is nothing quite like a good mystery, and this, so far, is absolutely one of the good ones.

Arcania: The Complete Tale

If you really feel a need to play this, get it on Steam or some other PC forum. From what I have seen, the pictures featured here, or anywhere on the internet for that matter, point in that direction. I can't speak for the quality of the title there, but I can, emphatically and until I am out of breath, say this: Do not, under any circumstances, play this version. Let it alone, leave it on the shelf. Don't even purchase it on sale. Don't play it. Just... don't.
