Every week, new content releases on the PlayStation Network, and sometimes it’s nice having an easy to play title during life’s numerous layovers. Sparkle 2 has some fun moments in the form of color matching addiction, but little else makes the title worth playing. Eight dollars won’t break most wallets, but there are plenty of other games on the Vita more worthy of your time.
Magrunner: Dark Pulse
Above niggles aside, this is a game definitely worth adding to your collection. Combining elements of 3D physics-based puzzle solving with a well-established gothic horror narrative, Magrunner presents unique and addictive challenges. As a crowd funded, budget title, this is a genuine contender for Indie Game of The Year; it really is that good.
Tiny Token Empires
Overall, the idea behind Tiny Token Empires is a good one. For those looking for a different way to exercise their Match 3 muscles, or even explore the world of 4X gameplay in a real simple, easy to understand manner, there are worse ways to do it. Given the aggravating controls though, I would simply try to find another way to play it. It's not game breaking by any stretch, but it is certainly enough to make the time spent with these tiny empires more enjoyable to forget.
