Switch Party

Super Mario Party Review

Super Mario Party’s core Party mode and excellent minigames are the true Super Stars in this package. However, they’re diluted by the extra modes. While some are genuinely creative and engaging, such as the team-based Partner Party and the fully cooperative River Survival, others feel like afterthoughts.

Snipperclips Plus DLC Review

The Snipperclips Plus DLC is a solid choice for anyone who enjoyed the original. Unfortunately, some levels feel rehashed and others are downright annoying, so it’s not as fresh or accessible as the base game. But the majority of the game’s 30 challenges keeps its penchant for creative multiplayer wackiness alive. The new modes and minigames enhance the package, making this a fairly good deal for the asking price. If you haven’t yet tried Snipperclips, the full Plus collection functions like a complete game, and it’s worth trying out with friends.

Flip Wars Review

Flip Wars has a simple premise: ground pound tiles to flip them over to your color. The player with the most colored tiles at the end of the round is the winner. Two alternative modes let you focus on knocking out other players by flipping the tiles they’re standing on, but really, that’s all there is to the entire experience. Flip Wars is a Nintendo Switch eShop game with as much depth as a minigame from Mario Party.
