Darksiders: Warmastered Edition (Switch) Review

Although it adds nothing unique and makes some visual concessions to fit the platform, Darksiders Warmastered Edition is a great way to revisit what is now considered a minor classic of the action-RPG genre.

Darksiders III Review

When viewed against the other two games in the series, Darksiders III is a complete disappointment. The gameplay is harder than it needs to be and does no favors. It’s also half-broken in a lot of places, lacks polish, and its stability is questionable at best.

Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-MARS-tered Review

Finding new and creative ways to topple buildings is really the only thing I needed out of the game, both now and in 2009. Another thing the remaster has going for it is the price. Thirty dollars is a respectable amount to ask for an updated version of a video game that excels at doing one cool thing really well.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar Review

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a fusion of comic books and classic role-playing games with a fascinating history. The title is based on the late ‘90s comic Battle Chasers by Joe Madureira. It followed five diverse heroes in a medieval steampunk setting but was eventually cancelled as Madureira moved on to video game development, working on such series as Darksiders. As fate would have it, Madureira and other Darksiders veterans successfully Kickstarted a project that would revitalize the comics in video game form.
