The Sims

The Sims 3

It is no small accomplishment what the developers managed to do with bringing The Sims 3 to consoles as for the first time in the series I actually feel like the controls are well enough designed that you can actually really enjoy playing The Sims 3 on consoles. Although maybe not as deep of an experience as you could find on the PC, if you are looking for The Sims on a console this is a great option.

The Sims 3

Maxis necessarily met all the expectations of this extremely hyped game but in many ways it really opens the door for developers to be creative and go after further ambitions then doing yet another first person shooter. Sure Spore may not be the perfect game but its an amazing accomplishment and one that I think everyone should really check out.

MySims is not a great game, but it does enough right to earn a good rating. I would say this is the type of game that if you’re bored one weekend looking for a game for your Wii, then MySims is a game that can take up a lot of your time and make for an enjoyable experience.

The Sims 2: Pets

This is still the same great Sims formula with animals thrown into the mix to give one solid outing on the Playstation 2. The controls are still not as fluid as that of the PC, but the game manages to keep things running smooth and adds enough in this game for fans of the series to once again go out and pick up this game.

The URBZ: Sims in the City

I commend the people over at Maxis for going with a different idea with their hit series. And although it may not be the best game of the series, for the diehard fans, there is still enough to find in this game to make it a worthwhile experience. For the rest of you it would probably be better just to use this game as a rental.

The Sims Bustin' Out

If you are on the lookout for a new Sims title for your console you have no where else to turn the Bustin Out, a very solid well developed game that does a nice job of doing everything quite well throughout the game.
