Gal Metal Review

Gal Metal is an average rhythm game that definitely falls in the “lost potential” category. With the huge falter that is the main plotline, the most appealing part of the main campaign would be the character interactions. Gameplaywise, Gal Metal is a novel concept that is ultimately limited by the accuracy of the motion control hardware.

Freedom Planet Review

Freedom Planet began life as a Sonic the Hedgehog fangame, and it’s not hard to believe given the core concept: a fast-paced 2D sidescroller starring animals. Looking past the surface, there’s more to this pixelated platformer than meets the eye, and it manages to hearken back to Sega’s classic series while sporting its own identity.

Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus

With its attitudes towards sex and the female form, it is clear that Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus won’t be for everyone. While there is no nudity to speak of (any accidental glimpses behind censored filters reveals Barbie doll-like anatomy), it’s bawdy sense of humor more than justifies a Mature rating.

Ys: Memories of Celceta

Ys: Memories of Celceta is one of the best games available for the Vita and a fine action RPG in its own right. Past some dated visuals and a sparse story are enticing battles and exciting exploration that can suck you in with a ruthless efficiency. If these kinds of character progression treadmills are your thing, don't let it pass you by.
