The Room Review

And The Room is an incredible game, make no doubt about it. Nothing to do with the Tommy Wiseau movie, it’s a game that launched on iOS that presented you with a simple goal: there’s a puzzle box on the table. Solve the puzzle box - the only clues you need for it are included within the box itself. You don’t need outside knowledge or anything from the last puzzle, you just need to attack this one box in the right order.

Typoman Revised Review

I really liked the novelty Typoman: Revised. I can’t speak to any changes made to the game for its Xbox One debut because this was my first time playing it. Even though most of the word puzzles make me feel like I wasted my time as an undergrad, the challenge is unique and I enjoy seeing how the words interact with the word around my player character. Though the three chapter game can be easily finished in a day, the experience is a fascinating and entertaining one.

Jet Car Stunts

Jet Car Stunts is not a bad game. The visuals, while a little sparse and bland on a big screen, are still crisp and vibrant. The gameplay, while loose, can be very enjoyable. The biggest problem (glitches and camera problems notwithstanding) is that it seems like the wrong game was remade. JCS would be a fine game if a far superior version hadn’t already existed since 2013. It’s a shame that JCS2 wasn’t remade or its improvements and expansions somehow included in the remake. As it stands, Jet Car Stunts is a slightly glitchy port of a mediocre game.
