Don’t Knock Twice is a short, play-it-once-and-forget kind of game whose purpose is to promote a film that might have flown below a radar or two. I enjoyed the genuinely unnerving moments of psychological terror that I thought brought the game within arms reach of Silent Hill.

I enjoyed the experience quite a bit but spent more time thinking about all the things I couldn’t do over the things I could when it was all over. It’s a well-crafted experience and one that I would recommend to anyone jumping into the Playstation VR at launch, but my hope is that years down the road we get a more fully realized Batman VR experience.
